Kimberley started as a interested fan of the glass art style and blossomed into a true fused artist. She began her art journey in 2007 and since then has made many different pieces using different mediums and techniques she has learned along the way.

Kimberley enjoys experimenting with color and gets her inspiration from the simple beauty of the world around her. Working in glass is challenging at times. “I just love the way it looks when I open my kiln to see the beauty that’s held within the glass”.

In 2007 Kimberley took her first beginner fusing class and she knew by her first few pieces that she fused that she was hooked. She has taken other classes along the way to help build her technique & style. Drop out Vessels and Pate De Verre with Amanda Taylor, Vitri Fusille painting in glass with Peter Mc Grain, working with powders Bob Leatherborrow, using what she has learned she has created her own style and it show’s in her work and her love for glass.

Her passion for making glass art has allowed her to become a active member with the Saskatoon Glass workers Guild since 2008 and she has been articled in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix in 2012 under GlassArt to showcase creative work and 2013 Glasswork Showcase and 2015 Turning LIGHT into COLOR with GLASS.

An active member of the Saskatchewan Craft Council since 2011 she has been able to show her work as a juried member and enter the Dimensions program along with other programs around Saskatoon.
