I started doing stained glass in 1995 and took advantage of Glass Guild workshops to explore a variety of glass techniques: copper foil, leading, painting on glass, sandblasting, beadmaking, fusing, lamination, glass powders, fritography, kiln casting and decorative soldering. These techniques are used to create unique glass pieces that reflect my observations of the beauty found in nature. My experience as an electron microscopist carries over to my work in the use of very small pieces of glass and intricate designs.
